Welcome to Charter Ireland
Yacht Charter, Day Sailing & Weekend Adventures to The Aran Islands
Charter Ireland is a Galway Based company located on the Marina in Galway Harbour. We provide Yacht Charter, Day Sailing and Weekend Adventures for everyone from the first timer to the hardened sea dog.
Our Day Sailing and Weekend Adventures are very popular with individuals/couples/groups who would like to try sailing for the first time or if you are just looking to try something different. We cater for birthdays, family get-togethers, the company day out, team building, groups of friends and corporate entertainment.
The Day Sail – Galway Bay is a beautiful unspoilt natural resource. To see it best you need to get out on the bay and appreciate all the sights around you. Our skipper will point out the land marks and give you all the local knowledge. This takes approximately 6 hours. Itinerary
The weekend adventure – We set sail from Galway Harbour, out into the bay and on to the Aran Islands. Here we moor for the night, visit the one of the islands (usually Inis Mór – the largest island) and stay on board an 8 berth Beneteau 37 Luxury yacht. People get a real feel for the environment, the sea and sailing as a whole - a well worth while experience. Itinerary
